About Your Instructor Prabhat

I am a certified Yoga teacher (E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500, YACEP®), founder of Hub of Yoga and working to promote traditional yoga practices in Taiwan & Europe. My first experience with Yoga Nidra happened when I was learning yoga in Rishikesh (in India) as part of the many meditation practices we were learning. Though I fell asleep for the most of my first practice – the relaxation I felt at the end of the session was incredible and I started my quest to learn more about this ancient science. Knowledge was not easily available and most of my early experience was from reading different texts and experimenting. It was at this time that we started Hub of Yoga as a platform to share the traditional yoga teachings and started our community classes. Once a week I used to lead Yoga Nidra and the benefits that my students received from a simple yoga nidra session were incredible!

About a year later I met by accident, a renunciate tantric master – Swami Samarpan Ji and I found my Guru for yoga nidra. Swamiji runs a very strict Ashram in Rishikesh where he does intense Sadhana and shares his knowledge with dedicated spiritual seekers. I was lucky enough to learn the Science of Yoga Nidra from him in person! Twice a week we will meet in the Ashram and he will impart knowledge and guide me through the practice of Yoga Nidra. Every subsequent week we will explore different aspects of the practice and my awareness in the state of yoga nidra started increasing. After a few months I had to say Goodbye to Swamiji as I had to move out of Rishikesh. My self practice continues to this day and yoga nidra is one of my favorite practices now – I often do the practice  moment I wake up from sleep in the morning. I look forward to share the practice with you in a stepwise manner and get you started on your Yoga Nidra journey.
